As a senior human capital management (HCM) strategy advisor for UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), Julie Develin, MSHRD, SHRM-SCP, is well-versed in the impact of employee relations, workplace flexibility, and workforce development on business operations. A senior HR leader with more than 17 years of executive-level HR experience, Develin works with organizations across the country on developing strategic workplace initiatives to enhance productivity, improve communication, and increase satisfaction across their workforce by using HR strategy coupled with innovative technology. Develin holds an MS in human resources development (HRD) from McDaniel College, where she continues to teach as an adjunct professor in the HRM and human services management programs, co-coordinates the HRM program, and advises students on career paths. Develin has been highly involved with SHRM and is a writer for the SHRM blog. She has served as secretary, vice president, president, and webmaster of her local chapter; now, she remains involved with the Maryland SHRM state council, serving on its board.
